Mervis Brothers Jewellers has well trained and accredited Gemologists Ken and Evan Mervis to evaluate diamonds and other precious stones on-site or at the comfort of your own home according to acknowledged international standards (GIA & EGL). The valuation of timepieces, both modern and vintage, is also offered as a specialist service for insurance and resale purposes.

A valuation is a very useful document which can enable you to ensure that your valuables are insured for the correct value. Should you be in the unfortunate position of having a loss or a theft the valuation not only provides your insurer with financial information but is valuable proof of ownership. We recommend that you keep your valuation up to date and consider having your items valued at least once every two years.

Mervis Brothers Jewellers are able to undertake the following types of Valuation: Insurance replacement – An insurance valuation is the amount an item should be insured for, that if lost or stolen could be replaced for the amount specified.
